What you can do with the art

You bought this to sell kits. So the short version is: sell them. Here is the precise version.

The icons and artwork

Every icon in the Kit Suite library is original work drawn for Kit Suite. It is not licensed in from a stock icon set, which is exactly why we can pass commercial rights on to you.

With Pro, you may:

Use the icons, cover art, banners and title cards in sample packs and kits you sell, for any price, on any store, with no cap on how many.
Use them in the artwork, thumbnails and promo images for those kits.
Keep using them in kits you have already shipped, forever, even if you later stop using Kit Suite.

No attribution is required. You do not need to credit Kit Suite in your pack, though we will not stop you.

What is not included

Reselling the library itself. You may not extract the icons and sell, give away or bundle them as an icon set, a design asset pack, or anything whose value is the icons rather than your samples.
Standalone use outside kits. The licence covers artwork inside products you sell, not logos, merchandise, tattoos or client work where the icon is the deliverable.
Claiming authorship. You cannot register the icons as your trademark or claim you drew them.
Redistributing Kit Suite. The app is licensed to you to use, not to copy or rehost.

If you want something outside this — a logo, a merch run, an exclusive — just ask. We are reasonable.

The typefaces

This one is worth being precise about, because a lot of tools are vague here.

The display typefaces in Kit Suite are open-licensed fonts, published under the SIL Open Font Licence. Kit Suite is not sublicensing them to you and does not claim to own them. What Kit Suite does is render them into an image: your cover art and title cards come out as pixels, with no font file embedded and none required on the machine that opens your kit.

Rendering open-licensed type into artwork you sell is expressly permitted by the OFL, so kits you export are clear to sell. The one thing the OFL forbids is selling the font files themselves, which Kit Suite never gives you and which never enter your export.

Your own material

Your samples, your kit names, your splits and your logo stay yours. Putting them through Kit Suite gives us no claim over any of it.

If a purchase is refunded

A refund ends the Pro licence going forward, and the art library may no longer be used in new kits. Kits you had already released stay released — we are not going to ask you to recall a pack.
